VE Day 2020

The 8th of May 2020 marks the 75th anniversary of the end of World War 2 in Europe (VE Day). If we were in school, we would have been marking this special day with fun and creative activities. Instead, we are launching a competition to design a VE Day medal. You will also find a selection of activities that you could complete at home. Perhaps you could have your own VE Day party at home sing wartime recipes.

On Friday 8th May at 8pm, Dame Vera Lynn will be singing We’ll Meet Again to the nation.  Why don’t you join in by listening and learning the song?  Below is a link which will take you to the song and the words to join in!
