Roman Temples

As part of our history topic, we used cardboard to design and create our own Roman temples. We explored the shapes and features of real Roman temples and carefully considered how these could be recreated using the materials. The children also learnt about Roman gods and goddesses, developing an understanding of who the temples were built for and why they were important in Roman life.
