There are a range of activities where charges can be made in line with our policy which parents will find below. Examples of items which may incur charges are out of hours activities such as after school clubs and private music lessons.
For any curriculum related activities such as school trips, school will ask for voluntary contributions and the Headteacher will have the delegated authority to decide whether any such activity will continue. No child will be excluded from any activity requiring voluntary contributions through not making such a contribution, provided there are enough contributions to enable the activity to take place. Children who are eligible for Pupil Premium will have their trips funded (that is pupils who receive, or have ever received, Free School Meals).
Should parents feel that they are unable to meet the request for a voluntary contribution they are requested to speak to the Headteacher in confidence.
