Safeguarding
Our staff are always vigilant for anything that might cause concern about a child. We work closely with other agencies also in the field of child welfare such as the school nurse and social services. Should there be any concern that may come under the umbrella of child protection, staff will report to Sal Dunstan, Lynn Briers or Kim Power, the school's Designated Safeguarding Leads. They will evaluate the issues raised and in most circumstances will talk to parents. There may however be occasions, usually extremely rare, when our concern about your child means that we have to consult other agencies even before we contact you. If you would like to discuss this further, please speak to the headteacher.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
We have a duty to pass on any concerns regarding pupils in our school.
