Parents and children should not be on the playground until 8:40am, the doors are opened at 8:45am and supervised by a member of staff. Children can then enter their classrooms to meet their teachers and teaching assistants. All messages need to go through the office to ensure they are recorded and passed on.

Crabbs Cross Academy operates an open door policy and parents are welcome to arrange to see a member of staff, via the office.  Wherever possible this appointment will be for the same day, and may even be immediate.  However, in the case of teachers, parents need to respect the fact that they need to be teaching during the hours above. If it is a quick matter of information sharing, please talk to the member of staff as you drop your child off in the morning, or pick them up in the evening.

Registers are taken at 8:50, with children arriving after 8:55 marked as late arrivals.  If children are frequently late the parents will be contacted by the school and/or the Educational Welfare Officer.
