Come and have a look at some of the amazing things we have been up to so far in 4KM!

Science Day

On science day, we designed and made gyrocopters. We tested what happened when we added more paperclips and experimented with the design of the wings. We then had a class competition to see which group's fell the slowest. 

World Book Day

On World Book Day, we came to school in our pyjamas and comfy clothes! We voted on our favourite book which we read as a class this year and The Fox and the Star was the winner! We each designed a square to decorate our box and came up with clues to describe our favourite book which were placed inside the box. 

Roman Workshop

We had a fantastic time when the Roman workshop came to school. We took part in lots of activities, including dressing up in Roman clothing.

Roman Temples

As part of our history topic, we used cardboard to design and create our own Roman temples. We explored the shapes and features of real Roman temples and carefully considered how these could be recreated using the materials. The children also learnt about Roman gods and goddesses, developing an understanding of who the temples were built for and why they were important in Roman life.
